Arabic is the language of the Holy Qur’aan, the Kalam of Allah, which was revealed to be a way of life for mankind. Allah, may He be
glorified and exalted, chose the Arabic language to be the language to convey the guidance to mankind. This is mentioned in many places in the Qur’aan, such as the verse in which Allah, may He be exalted, says:
“And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Qur’ân every kind of similitude in order that they may remember. An Arabic Qur’ân, without
any crookedness (therein) in order that they may avoid all evil which Allâh has ordered them to avoid, fear Him and keep their duty to Him”
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Arabic language is the symbol of Islam and its people.
Being the one and only language of the sources of Islam, its use does not only serve to unify the faith, but also to protect these sources
from alteration. From the article of faith, daily obligatory prayers to Quran recitation, Arabic is the language that a practising Muslim using.
Hence we give great importance to teach our students, the language of Quran, in an interesting and enthusiastic way.
